![]() I get all the civic duty stuff and your right but my local fools who run it treat you like your the felon. But when it gets closer to the 50/50 line, chances are someone's going to be convicted because the jury wants to side with the prosecutor. ![]() Juries can be so biased for so many reasons it's difficult to believe anyone gets acquitted unless their innocence is 70% obvious. It also showed me how biased the jury can be. But the lawyers, the jury and the whole process of presenting evidence, etc. It showed how flawed the judicial system can be. The whole thing was a good learning experience. What's even worse is that, not only did those people pull that as an excuse, I believe they were also lying to get out of it - I never once met anyone in my life who said, "I hate " - it just does not happen, and then to stand up and say it to a judge with 250 other people in the room, many of whom are of that race? Let me tell you that there is a severe lack of integrity in that kind of behavior. At the jury selection there were people who just got up and said, "I hate ", and they were dismissed.
